                The image I chose is Portrait (Hals) by Jason Salavon and it was taken in 2009.  I like this image because you cannot really tell what it is of and it is sort of a mystery.  The artist used photoshop to blur a picture of someone’s face.  I think the artist is trying to hide the identity of the person and create a mystery to the viewer.  

King Kong

For this project I decided to add King Kong hanging off my leg.  Im not very good at drawing on photoshop but i like the way it turned out.

Typeface

For this project i was supposed to create a new type of typeface and i thought of the idea of using paint brushes and pallets.  I thought it was a creative and clear typeface to use.

Batesville T-shirt design

For this project i was supposed to design a t-shirt for the annual Batesville day.  I decided to find a map of albemarle county and label Batesville as the largest.  This is a simple design but i think it should be for a t-shirt.

Midterm

For this project i thought it would be cool to make a house of actual waffles "Waffle House" and have a giant hand pour syrup on it.  I also thought it would look better if it had an actual road background.
